I'm nearly 6'3" and weigh in at about 230; when I bought my current frame according to the size I needed based on my measurements. When I got the frame, I looked at the holy-hell-that-is-effing-huge head tube and thought it was going to wind up being one of those really goofy "big guy" bikes. But I think it turned out OK:



I do agree that "big guy" bikes just do not look as fast or as aggressive as a 56/58cm bike setup race style.
