What past and present Carbon Fiber bike will be collectable in the future?
I’ve owned several CF’s over the past five years and only two stand out as the best. 87 Kestrel 4000 and my current 06 Colnago C50. Both are superb and unique for their overall ride and comfort, quickness on acceleration and quiet ( no hollow sound emanating through the bike). The Kestrel 4000 is no longer in my collection, sold to a BF member who’s enamored with the bike (had to sell because of the Colnago C50). Tell us what you think, keep it civil. I know there are some who abhor to the very thought of a CF in the Classic Vintage thread, but as time progresses, we have to face reality that these machines will be part of our future! Oh, do you refer the CF’s as carbon fiber or plastic bikes? Most steel is real aficionado’s prefer calling carbon fiber “plastic and cookie cutters”. If you have a carbon fiber road bike, show us!
