I don't have many details of the impact, but the dually pickup towing mirror is what hit me while riding in the bike lane. The driver and other witnesses assisted until the paramedics arrived.
Lots of pain, but the doctors all expect a full recovery.
Holy ****, you are lucky to be alive. I take it he was coming up behind you and the passenger mirror hit you? That my friend, is a decapitation scenario. Expect the pain to last weeks if not months but glad your alive.
