So what? Searches on vBulletin software are far from responsive; so, having gone through this drill myself, here is the three-step identification process:
  1. Look on the top of the seat tube, and find the serial number.
  2. Look here to determine the location, month, and year of manufacture.
  3. Look at the appropriate Raleigh catalog, and match its specs (components, color, and frame) to the corresponding model.
