Ultra back in 82' had an electric metallic green bike like this one. Remember they came in electric blue aswell.

Mine was tange 022 or champion 022 cant remember.

The issue we had was to figure it out who built them, back in the 80s a lot of manufacturers like tange made their "whatever who wants this can have it" frames and you never knew exactly who was the guy who built them, the good thing is that the frames were darn solid.

Prob ably you wont know ever who built it, one thing is certain, the bike is solid and the paint is even more solid hehehe.

Japanese in those frames used to do like a triple chrome plated and then use electrostatic paint (different thano powder coating), faster to paint, the paint is not thick as with powder coating, the only way to paint over the chrome and lasted forever, what you have there is the original paint job. I was you I wont even try to refinish that frame, will take godzilla to get that paint off.
