I went to FreeRange Cycles yesterday and was able to test ride the Surly Straggler. My initial thought was the bike was very comfortable and that the new Shimano Tiagra was decent(still can't stand the shifter's indicator).

Yes, you are correct, I will not be riding longer that 30 miles a day but MAYBE I might ride it doing 50 miles at most.

At this point, I am leaning towards the All City Macho Man Disk because it has a Shimano 105, which I am used to having since my current bike currently has a 105.
