Well I bought my wife a comfort bike to start with. It was an Electra Townie 7d. She would not ride a regular bike because her weight made the seat very uncomfortable. She loves the cruiser style and is up to riding 10 miles at a time. I know she will reach the limits of this bike soon and when she does we will upgrade to a hybrid style. For now just getting her riding and enjoying it is awesome !!
