The head for the hills ride in Chappell Hill is a really nice very hilly (for Southeast Texas) ride. Definitely worth the drive out from Houston. Hopefully the wildflowers will be coming out by then, because it is a prime area for great wildflower viewing. If you want to see what the Ready to Roll training series is like, they are partnering with the Washington County Rotary Club for that ride, so you will see 800-1000 of the folks from that training series out there, and the start will be managed by the R2R folks.
