Looking for answers to some questions, and a good community.

Daniel is my name, and I ride my bike (and trike) for transportation. I have a desire to ride across the country (US) once while I'm alive, among other things.

I ride an average steel road bike with a 60 cm frame, and it's two years old (as of this posting). I've learned to replace and repair several different components of this bike since I got it, and I've had a few nearly-serious collisions with cars in the last year.

I'd like to learn more about bike anatomy & physiology, as well as maintenance. I'd like to also learn about laws and rules that protect cyclists in traffic disputes, and get advice on long-distance pedaling for the hopeful cross-country ride.
