I don't get why Garmin charges so much for these devices. For the 500 it doesn't include any heart rate monitor sensors or cadence sensors. Getting a smartphone mount (since it has GPS also) seems to be relatively the same thing, except in a much larger package. I've been looking online for used 500's but can't find much for a reasonable price and don't think it's worth the money unless I can be proven otherwise.
