I think "The Fixer" misunderstood what "georgiaboy" meant by his statement. What he was trying to say was that if you want to use cantilever or v-brakes and 26" wheels, you must have a frame that was designed for 26" wheels and not 700c wheels or the brakes and rims will not line up. In other words, don't buy a 58cm Long Haul Trucker frame and try to put 26" wheels on it because it won't work.
