Another compatibility confirmation here for 10 speed MTB RDs. I've used the X9 Type II, and currently use the XX rear derailleurs with Force 10 speed shifters. FYI, the Type II medium cage has 35T chain wrap capacity, and the non-clutch medium cage RDs 37T.
