Craigslist in FL for me worked well (over 60% off for excellent condition 3 year old bike without a scratch, didn't need anything). I was only searching for a week. There were a ton of good deals at my time of purchase, but mine had the best fit.
I was originally planning on a BD bike, but I'm glad I went used. My $600 purchase will likely still be worth close to $600 next year.
