What with work & weather, I was s little concerned about my prep for this ride, but I just turned in a "personal best" on Friday - 14.4 mph avg over 20 miles, which included some of the tougher hills in the area. That with the two 40-milers and handful of rides of 20 miles or less in the last three weeks, plus the fact that the tour route is close to dead flat, I think I'll be OK. The LOML got me a set of removable fenders (SKS Race Blades) for father's day, so I'm ready for the marginal weather they're forecasting for that day.
