I don't need a beam that wide — at least, not worth considering an upgrade to get it.

One thing I like about the Edelux, compared to battery lights I've used, is that the light is contained — it shines on the road, not off the road, in the bushes or up in the trees.
Here's a youtube video I ran across where someone compared the Ixon IQ to the Ixon IQ Premium (these are the battery versions of the lights with the same optics, etc - so the Ixon IQ would be the same as the old Cyo, and the Ixon IQ Premium should be the same as the new Cyo Premium) -
