need help id on shwinn 12 speed
I don't have any photos yet but I'm working on a shwinn road bike. It's 12 speed and Chro-moly . all suntour equipment I don't know what model it is. Do the serial numbers tell the model?.
The serial number under the crank is L744616. There is also another number near the serial number that doesn't seem to be mentioned on any of the web sites I have found. It is 840 and the number on the head badge is 3437.
This bike was a freebie, rusty, crusty in a friends garage so the price was right. I just enjoy a project.
I'm hopeing for a le tour but I'm not sure
