I am going to be getting a new bike this weekend. I think I have settled on a Specialized Rock Hopper, but will also be looking at the HardRock too. Anything I should look for? Should I spend the extra for an 06 or just go with an 05? I will be mostly using it to get around school, but i hope to start riding trails and stuff like that for exercise. My current bike is a 45 dollar wallyworld POS. It has served me well actually for the past few weeks, but it is not long for this world. My philosophy was that I would see if I actually used the bike enough to justify spending a bunch of money on one, well I love riding around campus so now I wish I had just gone for a good one. O well. I will report back, I hope they have them in stock, I want to ride this weekend (fall break whoohoo!)
