It seems that the beam pattern is designed for being mounted a particular way, so mounting upside down would impact the beam pattern. Is this partially why you have it pointing very far down?
Thanks! Upside down is mainly because I like a clean bar to look at. I sometimes even forget it's mounted there. It's pointed down because the light is bright as hell and I try to keep it out of pedestrian and motorists eyes. I have it just loose enough to adjust depending on the situation. If I am on a street to myself I'll let it throw further. It's the nightrider MiNewt 500.
