I've been commuting with my fixie for several months but genuinely know nothing about bicycles. I've been eyeing for an upgrade and have bid on a 1980s Peugeot model on Ebay. It's nothing special but I think it'll be a welcome upgrade from what I currently use, which is definitely worse than this.

Unfortunately, the seller has not been too detailed on the model at all, and I'm itching to figure out what model it is, precisely. Here's what I figured out from snooping around and zooming in on the pictures:

- Suntour Seven front and rear derailleurs
- made in France
- plastic lion logo attached to front
- no frame pump
- 10 speed
- Peugeot center pull brakes

Any help on identification, as well as judgement on the bike itself, would be appreciated!

Edit: After several hours, I have found that it is a 1982 or '83 Peugeot P8.
