I'm new to world of road bikes so I don't always follow the lingo but I'm learning.

I'm not really after the lightest possible setup but rather doing research on a particular aesthetic that I'd like to achieve with my front wheel. in the post below I'll post a photo of what I'm after for the front wheel. Does this spoke setup require a high flange hub and deep dish wheel to minimize the flex of the spokes by decreasing the length?

Sounds like I'll have no weight issues.

Can anyone clarify the specific problems of a tangentially laced 1X wheel?
