shipwreck!!

We did a 6-week driving tour of the US in late 2012 ... and we stayed in Super 8s and Motel 6s etc. fairly frequently ... and in some places they were good ... but in some places, they were scary!! On several occasions police cars pulled up outside and had lengthy "discussions" with the people next door.

Sometimes it is worth it to spend a few more dollars and get a decent place to stay.
