I've been researching and collecting information about Lotus for a long time and I've never seen or heard of any Super Pro frame problems. I've seen quite a few abused and beat to hell Super Pros and they all seem to have survived with the frame intact.

Actually, I only know of a very few isolated Lotus frame failures through the model line.

Lotus must have been pretty confident in their frames as they offered a lifetime warranty at the time.
