No special chain ring. Much much better condition from an appearance point of view. Mechanically a little better too. There are some rather subtle/small differences between the two as well. I would say the black one has a slightly better frame (a bit more attention to details such as thicker and better welds) but i will prob. post more about that in my forthcoming page. I have also found there is very little info to be found and what there is, is mostly in dutch. I think that is because the bikes were sold only in the NL or perhaps very sparsely in other countries. What i found out so far: many many were made, they were in production even longer than Twenties i think (something like 25 or more years, from 1964 onwards i think) as they were the first Dutch produced folder. Over that period the frame almost didn't change at all but there was a variety of mostly steel components but all rather utilitarian, no racing versions or anything. They have been produced in lots of colors. So far i have seen: Green, black, Old Pink, Blue, Gray, Green, Brown and my GF saw a kindoff mauve one.
The back hub is one speed torpedo coaster. I think at the very least they were produced with the Duomatic, the SA, Gazelle and Torpedo 3 speed hubs too.
I am guessing you checked this link:
