Don't worry about brand names. The cheaper $250 - $330 bikes are all made in China, probably in the same factory and the brand names like Dawes, Windsor and Motobecane are all pretty much the same quality. The Kilo TT frame is better quality and is made in Taiwan, which is the main reason for the higher price. I have a Motobecane Messenger and Windsor Clockwork, which are both decent bikes.
