I'm trying to decided between a Windsor the Hour and the Marin Dominican for my first bike. I'm in Winnipeg, Canada and it would cost me around $300 to get the Hour off bikeisland but a LBS has the Dominican on sale for $345. I checked out the specs on the website and it seems like its components are at least on par with the Hour's. I'm not sure about the geometry though. I'm leaning towards the Dominican right now because the extra $45 seems worth it since this is my first bike and I'd be almost guaranteed the right fit if I were to buy it from the LBS.
I tried researching the Dominican on here and pedalroom. Doesn't seem like there's a lot of information out there on it.
That looks like a solid rig for the price, especially given you're in canada. Further, and not to hijack this thread, is the Marin Dominican the same exact frame as the traitor cutlass, whose frame retails for $400 alone? Look at those drop outs!!
