Give them the benefit of the doubt if you want to deal with them in the future. Don't be the obnoxious customer they wish had never entered the shop. That said, get the Zinn maintenance book and use the Park Tool website and learn to do these minor adjustments yourself in the future. It's a great hobby, welcome to the forum.
