I just bought a 2013 Sirrus Comp (without discs) for $900 brand new from the LBS. Buying last years model (even though is has the same components) save me $200.

I would also recommend a carbon fork for the shock/vibration absorption it provides. I'm going to also recommend looking at the elite/comp non-disc versions, and throw in ask about last year's models and see if you can get a better price.
