Tell your did since your a Junior your better off having a bike that is prescratched.
Repainting a bike can be a real pain and the end result is often not very good. Some guys here do it but they a good place to do the work and lots of time. The best way is to send to a professional and that cost $400 plus and round trip shipping to boot. If your 15 odds are you'll grow out of within a year anyway so just ride it.
You should be more concerned with the mechanics of the bike. do they still have gearing limits on Juniors?
There are lots of guys here with pink bikes and most of them are pretty nice rides.
