Well, I'll add that to those who are touting weight difference in the 2 bikes, I'd wager you could probably sweat the difference in weight away inside of an hour.

I proposed the "weight" question in another subforum & while consensus says the bike weight vs bodyweight makes no difference in the aggregate, I'd then go on to propose that the difference between a 23lb bike and a 25lb bike is damn near nothing at all considering any one of us can sweat 2lbs difference one way or the other.

Heck, tote 1 or 2 water bottles along & you've made that much difference & then some.

Get the cheaper bike until you can afford something in the 17lb range w/ 23cm tires that hold 150psi, signed by Mark Cavendish!
