I owned an Atlantis for a couple of years, and it was a great bike. When I moved to CA, I sold it. For the past 18 months I've been riding a 1987 Schwinn Cimarron conversion that has proven to be every bit as good as my old Atlantis, albiet a little heavier. The Atlantis is a great bike, and pretty for sure, but it doesn't function any better than my 87 Schwinn, and that's spoken from experience.
