I liked Monuments Men. The character development was a bit short, and the acting was good, but the story itself was fascinating, and if nothing else should show how evil Hitler was (putting aside the humanity issues involved).

We've had quite the cultural hit recently. We went to see a local production of The Phantom of the Opera and it was really quite well done (although the orchestra let it down a bit). We also saw a production that compiled many Gilbert and Sullivan works. We're hoping to see another local production in July, of War of the Worlds, which will be interesting for the scenery changes (but the theatre coped with those in Phantom so I don't see too many issues).

Machka has us doing some concerts in the coming weeks. Busy times and it's always nice to get out of work clothes and get dressed up (although seeing other theatre goers, I sometimes wonder down which toilet the dress code was flushed).
