Same here....
not that I am against a pro-fit. I just feel that for the non-competitive 2000+ miles I ride a year... as long as my self-fit doesn't cause me any harm I am OK.
I do ready my bicycle in the early spring (off season). New tires, chain.... so forth. I check my fit then (since I had a seat post slip down un-noticed). I start at the pedals/cleats and reexamine everything. I have also lost, gained and lost weight again... and have raised and lower the saddle a tiny bit mid-season on occasion.
