I use Surly and Eight inch cogs, never had an issue. Pair that with a kmc $7 chain and my drive trains super quiet. 1/8th chain 3/32 cog. Wouldn't be opposed to using an EAI if I built up a NJS or Bareknuckle. Let us know how you like it when you actually use it though.
