So I've adopted a Peugeot UO-8, circa mid-1970s, and have taken a liking to the thing. There's a little more info and some pics in
this thread. Anyway, there are a few modifications I'm hoping to make for practicality's sake, like replacing the cottered cranks. One of the other forumites is sending a Sugino Maxy crankset my way and I'm wondering if any of you could help me find the specs on a suitable spindle for it. My original cups are in great shape and I'm hoping to reuse them.
Loose Screws has some spindles they identify as Sugino Maxy. Are either of these a potential fit?
