It makes sense to get your Shimano outboard bearing bottom bracket now for your 105 crank. It will continue to serve you when you change to a different Shimano crank. I use only MegaExo BBs but only with FSA cranks and they are fine, but if you want Shimano for a crank, go Shimano all the way. Don't try to make fit what won't.
