I'm in Rhode Island but do most of my posting on the 50+ along with the other old folks. Narragansett Bay usually moderates and warms winter weather enough here that the bike club schedules rides throughout the cold weather which is seldom that cold. During winter, my own riding slows somewhat but this year it has slowed a lot. First we'd get several inches of snow and then it would warm and melt followed by several more inches of snow followed by more melting and so on and so forth. I suppose in total we have had several feet of snow but at no time was there ever several feet of snow on the ground. Finally, today it warmed to about 50F and I got in a nice but short 20 miles on the bike. So for me anyway, there had not been that much to post about with the bike but I did get in several days of cross country skiing at state parks and a state forrest. Cross country skiing is much like climbing a 6% grade on a bike for hours at a time.
