Except you can't take them off to recharge them without removing the stem or seat. That's kind of the idea so they are harder to steal. They come with a six foot long USB to micro cable to recharge. Anyway, it's nice to have a light tucked under the stem and not cluttering the bars. Given how hideous my chain ring is, I should only ride this monstrosity at night anyway
