Old tires with kevlar belts are worst of them all. I got some Armadillos in 1993. Rode like garden hoses.
My favorite race tire w/ protection setup is Michelin Pro 3 with Mr. Tuffy liners. Also liking the Clement Strada LGG w/ Mr. Tuffies, shown in the pic of my Scapin above.
