You'll love your 95 I'm sure. Don't think you'll be giving up that much weight-wise - - frame weighs a pound more and wheels and small bits may account for a bit, but you'll make up for it when you get 'er up to cruising speed

Biggest surprise to date has been the 'budget' Mavic Crossride wheels. I worried about those spindly-looking things (only 24-spoke 2-cross?) when I got the bike; but after almost a year of plowing rock gardens, landing whippy jumps and runs down a DH course, they're still as tight and true as new. I'm impressed.
Haven't looked at Mavic yet. I do have my eyes on some Reynolds wheels though. If I go lighter, it will be rotational weight. This is my new ride. Took it up today on a short climb. Liking the 29er ride. I'm trying out mtb so I'm getting acclimated to the difference between road vs. mtb. Cadence, clipping in, adjusting shocks, etc. The trails are quieter and nicer by far.
