Just because aluminium does not rust, doesn't mean it doesn't corrode. And when it does, you will wish you were dealing with rust instead.

With what seems to be a hostile environment toward metals, you have nothing to worry about if you do your part. I.E. storing your bike indoors and wiping it down after riding in the elements.
Even with a hi-tensile frame, you'd have no problems with corrosion whatsoever.

Your components will rust/ corrode before your frame which is protected with its paintjob besides.
