Single walled MTB rim on front

I rebuilt my rear wheel on my Trek 930 to a double walled Rhynolite rim with a decent LX hub and put a Continental Tour tire on it, so at least that's all set, but I'm wondering how really critical would it be for the front to be double walled.

I've never busted spokes on the front, just the rear. I'm just running a basic Araya wheel for now, but would love to build up another Rhynolite if I could ever scrounge the cash.

I don't overweight the front end too much and the bike is pretty solid.

How many of you guys use a "single wall" on the front? I'm generally good about not hitting deep potholes at 35 MPH , etc....

Thanks
