If you have it and are not going anywhere too remote I say you should be fine to use it until it gives you problems, just check it occasionally but you should be doing that with any quality of rim. If you plan on spending a lot of time offroad I would say it is worth it to replace it, even if just lacing it to your old front hub, rims are cheap and spokes do not have to be expensive either so if you are doing the build yourself you do not have a ton of money into your wheel. You already seem to have your doubts so the piece of mind alone would be worth it for most.

For what it is worth, the rim quality does not change your chances of breaking a spoke, that comes down to proper tension, the wheel being properly stress relieved and spoke quality.
