Although my brand new Jamis Coda Sport rides far smoother than my aluminum hybrid, it however feels a bit stiff compared to my friend's 2 year old Coda Sport. He has about 2000 miles on it. Both our bikes are identical except ofcourse mine is new and has no miles on it. Do steel frames have a break in period? Do these frames lose some of their stiffness in the long run?
