I know that when I cut the last one I used a hacksaw, but I wondered if it would be possible or even advisable to use a pipe cutter. How exactly do you do this ? I was thinking that if I use a hacksaw, I could first screw on some old headset parts to act as a guide to get a square cut, and to help reform the threads when they were removed after cutting.
