My fastest is 4 hr. 20 min. but that was back in Southern IL (very flat), plus I was only 35 at the time, plus we were drafting a bunch of former RAAM riders (Lon Haldeman, Susan Notorangelo, Dr. Robert Beeson, Jim Amelung, etc.) and they wouldn't let us "slow" riders take a pull
. So we just kind of sat-in on the back of the peloton at 23-24 mpg.
