Put it this way; if somebody can buy a $150071 Cutlass and restomod that thing with a corvette drivetrain and who knows what engine, classic air hvac system, stereo system, custom wheels and interior, paint, and body work, why can't somebody throw money at an old bike?

I'll throw money at any bike I have to make it do what I want and just as importantly, make it mine. Doesn't matter if it's a Trek or Roadmaster. MAtter of fact I hve a roadmaster now, that I got new brake levers for and some BMX side pulls, because they are stronger and beefier than any fat tire side pull thats ever graced a mtb.
