I have a compact that I like a lot, but if I lived in the big mountains I would have bike set up with a triple as well as a double for racing. You can never have too many cool bikes!

Even the compact gets some hate from the pretendo club ride racers...but when you are hanging with the A group and everybody is 20 years younger...then the haters have to become the relaters.
