I have some older Soul 2.0s. They feel kind cheapie to me. Super light. Mine weighed in at 1334 grams for the set with Veloplugs. The rear hub developed a strange tick sound after about 500-700 miles. Feels fine, the hub engages without any issues. I think it just needs to be greased up. But it's not confidence inspiring when something like that happens with so few miles. The hub body is aluminum, so it does get gouged by the cassette. I just removed my Ultegra cassette so I could sell it. I had like 1000+ miles on the rear before I swapped it back to my Mavics Aksiums (so I could go 11 speed). Swapping back to my Mavics... I could really feel the extra weight.

My friend picked up C24s. They are going to be about 100 grams heavier. They're really nice. Everything about it just feels like it's a quality product. (except for the skewers... which are huge and goofy looking)

between the 2, I would go C24s.

For the price / weight... there's very few prebuilt wheels that come close to Souls.

For my next set of rims... I'm either going to build up a custom set with really nice hubs (White Industry or Chris Kings) or buy C35s (for more areo). I'm still debating on it. Neither set is going to be as light as the Souls. But I want something a little sturdier
