How did you find out about the Microshift friction capability? I did some research and could find nothing definite except on the Rivendell site. They say you can buy the ends separately and if you want friction on the right, just install two lefts, one on each side.

Also, looking at the close-up photos on ebay, I see that they don't have those little wire half-rings for changing to friction, also the word "friction" does not appear on the shifters. I'm assuming that the + and _ refer to the tightness of the shifting, so how do you actually make the change from index to friction on the right side shifter (if they in fact have that capability)?
