I have a 2014 Comp Carbon that I gave myself as a present for my 60th birthday. It replaced 1993 RockHopper which still sees some cargo carrying duty. Mine took about a month to arrive after I ordered it and my LBS said it would take longer than it did by about two weeks. Frames made in China are probably the biggest reason there's a long lead time.
Here is the welcoming committee checking out the new arrival after bringing it home. I absolutely love the bike which I use for my daily 16 mile commute and almost everything else. The AXIS wheel logos are reflective.
